In 2000, our business idea for pre-owned products materialized with The Second Hand Shop at Holland Road Shopping Centre. Besides the sale of good-as-new homeware and designer bags, customers could sell and consign their own products as well. Two years later, we started The Second Wardrobe on the encouragement by our regular customers. This was located at Change Alley and featured pre-owned designer products like bags, apparel and shoes.

In the meantime, The Second Hand Shop went through a revamp and came back as The Seconds in 2003 serving the expatriate community at Holland Road Shopping Centre. As a boutique-styled second hand shop, designer goods, homeware and retro knick-knacks were in demand.

To reach out to professionals and young executives in the corporate world, we set up Madam Milan in 2004 at Raffles Place MRT station, Basement 1. As our reputation for reliability grew, we opened our second retail store at Tanjong Pagar MRT station, Basement 1, in 2008
